So if you know me, you know that I spend most of my days hard at work writing songs with and for other artists, and it's as fun as ever.
I've had a bunch of songs recorded in the last 6 months to a year that I'm really excited about, like Tigirlily, a duo I've been working with. They are so good, and if you don't know them yet you will. It looks like I'm going to have a few songs on their debut EP out early next year, so stay tuned to see what happens with them.
The most recent song I've had released (which means you can actually find it and listen to it) is a song called Blame "Em Both by Sam Williams, who is the grandson of Country Music legend, Hank Williams. His voice and his lyrical style are incredibly haunting. You should check him out if you haven't yet. www.samwilliamsofficial.com.
Then there is Harper Grace, a great singer from Texas who just recently signed a major record deal and has recorded 3 songs we co-wrote for her upcoming project. Keep an eye out for news on that one.
I also work with a lot up and coming independent artists like Sarahbeth Taite, who is one of my favorite country female voices in town. She has been building a loyal following through streaming and social media for some time now, and is poised to blow up. She has consistently recorded songs we have written together including her most recent single called "Right On Time." www.sarahbethtaite.com
Cannan Cox is one of the hardest working artists I've worked with. He put out a song we wrote called "As You Leave," that has streamed over 2 million on Spotify and he is planning to release another one early next year...www.canaancox.com
I just found out that a song I wrote with my good friends, Kelleigh Bannen and Will Bowen is being used in a coming out at Christmas time.
Also, I found out this summer that Tim McGraw recorded a song that I wrote with 2 great songwriters, Lori McKenna and Josh Osborne. I've got my fingers crossed big time on that one in hopes that it makes the record.
I will continue to keep you in the loop as songs get released and/or new songs get recorded. Thanks for following along....
